Architecture is a single word but multiple meanings. It is a process in itself, a documentation for some and a job for others. If we talk about architecture as a process, then we will see that it includes a fine process of constructing and designing physical structures like buildings, etc., by an individual or an organization as a whole that further makes use of various tools to complete the procedure. The people who are involved in the process are known as architects and they are the ones who think about various aspects like the conception and arrangement of the total built environment, and other such things. Sometimes even minute details like the arrangement of furniture, etc. are also kept in mind while designing the entity.
As a profession, it deals with the performance of architects as well as the tools that are involved in the process. But at times, a lot of people confuse the profession with engineering. Both the terms are entirely different as the later one deals with manipulation of materials and the use of mathematical formulas.
Coming back to architecture, the main motto of the architects is to fulfill the shelter and spatial needs of their clients depending upon their inclination, desires and demands. At the same time, they have to ensure that the final product should match up with the propensity of these clients as well.
