The world is progressing at each and every moment. Media has played a very important role in this. It has a very important role to play for the society. We are linked with the outside world through news channels and other mediums that provide us with all the important information as they act as a mouthpiece of these issues, which helps us to estimate the realities of lives. We know everything through media only. It is up to them whether they guide us in the right manner or misguide the public in some other direction.
But a lot of news channels exaggerate a simple news to a much hyped event just to gain traffic and TRPs for their channel. It should not be done. Media should not misuse its powers at all. Why should they fool a common man? Just because they have the power of shaping up the human society, that does not mean that they will make wrong use of it!
The fact is that media has the power to shape up our perception towards the society that is evolving around us. It holds fifty percent of that power. Now, the time has arrived, when we should re-consider on certain aspects about our attitudes towards society. It is not that every medium and news channel curve the news in the wrong way only. Some news channels and media act for the benefit of the general public as well. It is up to us as to how we differentiate between the real ones and the false ones.
